The Asthma Olympics are designed to provide asthmatic children, ages 5-12, with an opportunity to have fun participating in sporting events while learning about asthma. The Asthma Olympics gives children with asthma a safe environment to learn how to manage asthma during physical activity. Events are supervised by volunteers; including registered nurses and respiratory therapists. Participating in Asthma Olympics does not require a high level of athletic skill.

this is THE major craft beer festival in Philly and will feature at least 75 different breweries and is held on the first Saturday in March at the historic Navy Yard in South Philadelphia. Named one of the Top Ten Beer Fests in America by Forbes Magazine, the Philly Craft Beer Fest has raised over $60,000 for St. Christopher's Hospital's Committee to Benefit the Children and brings thousands of beer enthusiasts together on the first Saturday in March.
